You have governors and mayors openly not cooperating with federal authorities, that certainly doesn’t help the efforts. You have people warning illegals when ice arrives and forming blockades. This is mostly driven by the media and social media.

Well for starters, the name of the island is Greenland, not Iceland. I think he said that 5-6 times.
His continued attack on the American/Canadian relationship, which makes no sense whatsoever and erases the possibility of American Hegemony, which supposedly is his goal.
The history of it all and how he just glosses over the 1951 treaty as if it doesn’t exist, then sells this new concept as if it isn’t an exact replica of what we already have in place.
Plus the overall pompous way he delivers the cultural war nonsense, the lies about the economy, etc etc.
The speech was a joke.

They don’t get the point that pissing on allies drives them away.
We deserve everyone turning against us. Canada should go full free trade with China in response.

Military is not the leadership, soldiers have no say in foreign policy. This is 2 totally different conversations.

Im sure the military personnel in NATO countries love hearing the president telling them that they did nothing to support us.
This is Congress doings, not Trump. Let’s see if spending cuts occur or if he has to veto the bill to make that happen.
I’m sure President auto-pen would sign it! We need more drag queens in grade schools and teach our children how terrible of a country we are.

We’ve poured 21.9 trillion dollars into NATO and rebuilding Europe. Over 500,000 Americans killed in both world wars. Both wars started by Europeans against Europeans. Crazy, I know. Where were the Euros when Russia took Crimea? How about Ukraine? And they still buy most of their energy needs from Russia. Make that make sense.
Over 100 years of helping and protecting Europe from Russia and communism, and when we express our interest to secure Greenland we’re the bully, the imperialist. fack them, and the horse they rode in on.

I like how MAGA is anti mainstream media and accuses everyone of falling for propaganda, while simultaneously living their whole lives not thinking about Greenland, but now demanding it belong to the US.
Food for thought. Some of you may be just as susceptible to propaganda as the folks on the opposite side of the political spectrum.
