Huge ass omnibus spending bills are horrible….when the person one doesn’t want is President. They’re great when the dude one likes is in office.

I’ve thought about Greenland many times in the past. My father, an air force veteran, told many stories of his time there during the Korean conflict. You don’t know what I think about.
I beleive I have a fairly well rounded perspective on lots of world views. 21 years overseas in 8 different countries. 2 years living in Europe, the Haig, Netherlands. 30+ trips into China, lived 12 years in Muslim countries. Also called Dubai, Bangkok, Jakarta, Balikpapan, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, and Accra home over those years. The Chinese hate America with a passion and those f’ers copy everything, even Tabasco. They plan on taking over the world and are trying to isolate us with their ill gotten wealth gained from stealing technology and unfair trade practices. So our president decides we need Greenland to secure our artic flank in the Western Hemisphere. Euope is in the Eastern Hemisphere, in case you didn’t know that. And all the haters can do is bash Trump, orange man bad is their entire strategy. Pitiful!

TBH, I initially thought Obama would be a positive for race relations, but not living in the US when this happened blinded me. All I had to watch was CNN, the deep state network. Barry is the biggest fraud in world history and now we know he tried to overthrow a duly elected POTUS in 2016. He’s a traitor of the first order and should be in prison along with the other conspirators.

Yes, but they won’t vote on single bill funding at a time. Can’t get that pork in the bill unless they throw it all together with thousand plus pages of mostly BS.
Musk estimates there is $1.5 Trillion in fraud each year. That’s hard to believe, but Bessent believes there’s $250 Billion in California alone so there’s no telling what the actual number is. How did SNAP cost double during the AutoPen president’s term in office?
All I know is I’m pissed at Congress and our lame ass politicians who won’t control their spending. Paying taxes and knowing its been going to NGOs who fund political campaigns, or end up in Somalia, or Ukraine generals, or transgender surgeries in some fricking foreign country, countries that oppose our interest every time in the corrupted UN, or WHO…what the hell happened to the USA?

Completely agree…but America first doesn’t piss on allies or worry about Greenland/Venezuela. America first strengthens ties with Canada and Mexico and doesn’t push them away.
also doesn’t send untrained masked cosplayers onto American streets.
America last lets in millions of undocumented illegal aliens, some with long criminal backgrounds and some known terrorist. America last let’s China set up in Venezuela and feels embarrassed when it’s “allies” cry about wanting to defend our Artic flank against good guys like Russia and China. America last wants to dox law enforcement agents enforcing the LAW because they are being threatened by paid protestors and good folks like Antifa…you know the folks that go around wearing masks and creating chaos in American streets.
And then you have idiots carrying a gun while interfering with law enforcement agents, who are doing their job enforcing the law.

not once did I condone letting in the millions of undocumented but I won’t condone what these untrained masked cosplayers are doing. As a fellow criminal (as trump called people who carry guns), the man who was killed was well within his rights. He never brandished a gun at law enforcement and had his gun removed before he was shot in the back multiple times. He was using his first amendment right by filming and his second amendment right by carrying.
I’ve been respectful but if you condone what happened yesterday you are a piece of human garbage. Respectfully.

Threatening every facking country with military action is not “peace”. If someone punches me in the face because I prefer one thing over another you think I’m gonna say “okay you’re right let’s be friends”? ….yeah right.
Trump wants to spend hundreds of billions on military and buying out people that aren’t even us citizens. That’s not looking out for Americans. His peace by violence with cost more lives than it saves. A fraction of the money he wants to use to buy Greenland (Iceland as he calls it) and the 500 billion dollar military budget increase would cover free school lunch for every kid in America. Massive infrastructure improvements, free/extreme low cost in public transportation. Accessible drinking water for everyone (she he vetoed). ICE is now a top 15 funded military organization in the world….thats excessive.
Trump is not America first. His policy is just who ever is the highest bidder. It’s top vs bottom and he uses the left vs right as his scapegoat.

What do drag queens have to do with another broken campaign promise? And yes, DJT can stop the spending bill. He vetoes nothing this congress does, yet the Trump fans always shift blame. And that’s my biggest problem with the new right. No one can ever just be honest with themselves and admit that a lot of his “policies” and promises are performative. Nothing actually gets done.

US foreign policy under the Bush, Clinton and Obama admins provoked the war with Ukraine and the taking of Crimea. That’s not even debatable at this point. When a super power draws a red line, gets frozen out of a council created to destroy it and then faces an existential threat, what do you think they’re going to do?

Again, what does that have to do with anything I said? Why is everything whataboutism? Biggest problem with past political wonks is everyone has to be put in a box. One thing that millennials and zoomers have figured out is, the uniparty isn’t for the people and it does not act in our interest. In fact, it’s become more predatory than ever.
