Ok if we can’t fire him, let’s demote him and have him quit.

Give him all the trivial duties that coaches have to do and make him hate his job and if he doesn’t do his job then you have just cause to fire him. Hopefully he has performance goals in his contract that can activate to have him fired for free.

Should we really be surprised? The team lost so much talent in the offseason and honestly didn’t do much to replace it…

We should have seen it coming but we bought into the bogus “reports” from the coaching staff about how good this team would be…

To me its clear they were just trying to avoid having 9k people at the stadium unveiling

I was never a pro Dez hire. I always thought he was the safe, cheap, local hire. Why did we not do a national search is beyond me.

Wasn’t Dez the ONLY coach Napier left behind? Was he really trying to set us up with the best in his departure? Or did he not take Dez to Florida because he knew the truth about his coaching abilities?

Cheap hire that Maggard figured would get local support. Now your stuck with guy who couldn’t sell water to people in a drought. I dont think maggard is the AD next football season going to be interesting the next person level of expectations.

Everybody needs to buckle up and suck it up because it will be a few years before we have a chance to bring in a new staff.

There is going to be a new president who will probably be hiring a new AD at some point. It will be a couple of years of dealing with the new fiscal landscape before that new AD can make a move.

I dont care where my coach is from as long as he can coach. Problem was he wasn’t some Legendary player like a Tillman or a Delhomme that would have peak the casual fans.
