Shultz is trolling for engagement, that’s all. I had to unfollow him and will likely mute him. He adds very little to discussion of SBC other than to repeat what’s already being said, just with capitalized flashy words, all to get more clicks. Its pretty sad.
I don’t know where the talking heads are seeing this talk of Cajun fans wanting Des fired besides maybe 2-3 burners on Twitter. I don’t have FB, so maybe there?
Most folks I’ve seen on here and RR postgame have just been wanting coaches to be accountable for the performances we’ve seen in the first three weeks.
Talking heads will take one persons comment and run with it. It’s all about clicks, if it bleeds it leads.

Always going to be a handful who think firing the coach will solve all problems. Especially when dealing with a large group.

I see one post on thREDs (using universal search bar) saying Des needs to fire his play caller, and one post saying Des should be fired if he doesn’t beat Tech next year.

What’s wrong with calling a spade a spade? Watch the effort displayed on the play at the 4:00 mark. Is someone supposed to feel bad because they called that “quit” instead of “not displaying max effort?” Give me a facking break.
So many busted coverages. So many bad leverage plays. So much bad technique on the LOS. Hard to watch.
I’ll own the one about the LA Tech game. If he can’t help us turn the corner vs LA Tech, a program we were supposed to have separated from, then he’s not the guy for the job.
Of course, we’ll now be playing Tech every year, so I guess that can’t be an end all be all for every head football coach every season. But go 3-9 this year (which it’s looking like) and lose by multiple TDs to Tech next season, and yes, we should be looking for a new head coach for 2027
Not trying to single anyone out, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Like I’ve said 1,000 times here and there: I’m CMD’s biggest fan, but someone has got to own weeks 1 through 3.
I don’t think Dez should be gone yet. But he needs to understand his weaknesses and get help in those areas. If he can’t hire the right people around him and make the tough decisions…then i will start to question.
Exactly. We as fans have a right to expect the team we support emotionally and financially to perform well and give their 100% effort.
Fans are going to be fans. Don’t like what we have to say, win games. Winning takes care of a lot of things.
What should be worried about is when fans stop caring and stop talking about the program regardless of positive or negative.
Much like what became of the basketball team during the last few Marlin years.
We can’t afford that for football.
The stadium renovation and premium experience attached to it means we can’t afford for the football program to go down the drain. I support Coach Dez, but I also expect more from this program. We should never have to worry about things going back to the Baldwin years.
Problem is he has not seem to learn from his mistakes as he still making a lot of same mistakes as previous 3 years
