Well, they are finally listening. A promotion to get fans into a game at a very low cost.

Their lowest ticket is already $11? How much lower would you want them to go? I spend more on my prescriptions that I would going to one of their games. I think the bigger issue is people in Lafayette not wanting to go.

Appreciated the effort. Hate that this is still a thing. I may actually take advantage of that and my kids will probably want to go just for the silliness.

Man, it’s such a stupid thing though.

Like my sons said: This is so old. The adults are the only ones pushing it now. So yesterday.

Until we get $2 Nattys in the dome I shall not be impressed

I don’t care how stupid it is. I love it. We should be doing stuff like this constantly, and not just for a Black Friday deal. Run a damn special for the ULM football game. Nobody is paying $28 to watch that.

Shouldn’t even pay $2 to go watch that crap shoot.

3 games into the season and you already wrote this team off. Sounds like you were a Fish Fan. Sorry your buddy is gone. Time to move on.

Yes, team has things to work on. If you cant see the potential, just stay away and let us enjoy what is in the making.

Thought the same. Let’s see what they do.

B Ball needs support but having people show up for a football game is a priority. Last one of the year, tough time of the year with Thanksgiving, and no one really gets up for ULM. Even with a potential bowl game or at least finishing with a not horrible record on the line.

Maybe use context clues and see I was talking about the ULM football game.

I’ll die on this hill. Let highschool students in free. Get butts in seats and we can make the money back on concessions.

Well, considering you just replied to the whole “basketball” thread & not reply to the 1 post about football in this thread, why would I not infer that you were talking about basketball?

Again, moving on …

read my earlier post and youd see I liked the deal and said tickets are already $11. I pressed reply and it didnt do it. my bad, but it would be nice if you could use common sense and context clues.

You pressed the wrong reply button ..

Back to original topic … It will be interesting to see if we truly have an increase in attendance on Black Friday. Wish local news media would pick up on this promotion instead of relying on social media.

Our buddy Will is likely the only one to help us out on that.

Im sure local news would work, but my daughter was the one that showed it to me and I didn’t get it. She said that my grandson was laughing. Local news would help with the parents maybe not the kids

Ok. Not to dredge up someone else’s old argument…but…this reply button thing. I’ve noticed this several times where I think I’ve replied directly to someone’s post, but it doesn’t show that way. Has anyone else noticed this?

You have to highlight the post and click quote. If not it just shows a small icon at the top right of your post.

Thats a great way to get a thousand high schoolers walking around the concourses and sidewalks
