Do we have anything going on for the rice game? I still get emails from when I went to the Minnesota game a few years ago. $10 tickets doesn’t sound like a bad deal
Premium crickets though.
Right, most high schools charge more. So just to be clear, you want UL to charge high school ticket prices to get people into the stadium? I could see how that would bring millions to the program.
Not sure if you’re speaking directly to me or in general but I would like to be clear. I have no problem with a 24 hour promotion for ten dollar tickets to try and entice people to get into the gates. Would you rather have 1000 people buy $10 tickets or have nobody buying $25 tickets? They did away with the family five pack which is not smart imo. We can’t afford not to sell as many tickets as possible so I don’t see anything wrong with a discounted promotion.
Coastal Football tickets are only $20 ($35 via the school) and that includes all you can eat food. I bet a ton a family’s make a game while UL guts the YRCC
Where are you seeing $20 prices. Based off single game ticket prices on paciolan, cheapest ticket is $35.
Not sure who reach out to who or if other Lafayette area schools are doing this. Wife recieved this link at the end of July from STM.
Ticketmaster is $31 after fees.
Well those are resell prices, not determines by school.
School site looks like $35 which includes all you can eat and drink.
At Fan DAy on Saturday, individual game tickets were being sold. They were 50 bucks for 2 which is 25 per ticket. I don’t think there were any fees added to that. If you go to the ticket office, you can still get those. You can get east side 50 yard line seats for that price. Granted those are not chairbacks but still a good deal nonetheless. Many of the seasts being sold in that section are corporate season tickets in packages of 10. They can be had for 150 bucks. I was told over 700 of those had been sold with that outreach continuing. Individuals can also buy season tickets for 150 bucks in that section with no RCAF contribution required. 50 yard line seats for 25 each has to be one of the best deals in all of college football. Buy a portable seat with a back from Academy if you need body support and want to sit in that section.
We got Coach Q out there saying we need to get 12k in the dome for MBB.
Meanwhile we’re 12 days away from first game in a brand-new stadium and we’re silently hoping for an adequate crowd instead of demanding a sell-out from the local community. I feel like I have to sunshine pump the situation heading into the season, but it’s hard for me to silence the inner critic.
Still cautiously optimistic we have a big crowd.
The Savannah Bananas method..
There is absolutely NO reason not to announce Sections 110-112 as $10 when they’re sitting almost completely unsold less than 2 weeks out.
Also, raising single game ticket prices for McNeese and Southern Miss is another amazing move. We expect a couple hundred traveling fans so lets charge $5 more and make an extra thousand bucks…
To the average joe Lafayette citizen (the ones you need to fill this stadium), UL is closer to Acadiana High than they are to LSU.
There could be a special if you purchase a football ticket you can enter the Soccer Match for free, why not give them 2 games for the price of 1, and also one free soda and concession item under $5 with the ticket.
Soccer is already free.
didn’t realize that, then the 2 free items
They can stay home then.
