Hopefully the new President figures out how to get all the finances together to make the University grow it’s foot print even more.
The 300 tailgate was a mess. The want us all gone off the grass and are threatening to move us away from the stadium. I pay for convivence they can move us but I won’t buy a spot. I will reduce my RCAF donation to the minimum needed for my five tickets and just donate the money to the alumni association and tailgate with them. Some might say I’m petty but it’s way more than that. I was told all the spot numbers changed ok. I got my new number went check out my spot it was my old spot. Friday evening I went setup looked at my spot the number had changed. I went and asked about it was told yes we renumbered and you spot moved. I didn’t complain went back to my spot move everything over two spots. We were told where we could park with our tailgate pass, so we did. The Sheriff made us move even though there were other cars parked in the same row. No complaint we moved. So, I put up with a lot just to tailgate thats why if asked to move next year I won’t renew. JMO
Take an L next weekend, and there should be plenty of space and tailgating elbow room for the season.
I hate to tell you that people in charge could care less if you renew or not.
We tailgated in the same spot by the oak tree since before spots were pay spots. Happily paid for our spot when they became pay spots. 3 years ago we chose not to renew.

There’s plenty of room now. No loss to McNeese required. The price for tailgating versus what you get and the way you are treated is a robbery. And before anyone comes in here crying about “well they charged xx at blank” or “things cost money,” let me remind you: things are also WORTH certain amounts of money. The market has been saying for going on a decade now that our TG is not worth what we charge. Have conversations with people around town and there are way more on the cusp on giving up on this school than considering new support. Our decision makers are an embarrassment.

Our decision to give up our spot had nothing to do with money. It was mostly on principle and how we were being treated since we were not high dollar donors that kissed ass.
Best decision we ever made. Game week is a whole lot less stressful for us.

UL tailgating testimonial of the day
We just walk around, listen to the music, go into the pep rally at the baseball field, and then walk in the game. It is alot better for my family this way. Alot cheaper also.

This is how Jennifer Marlin treated me cause i didn’t donate enough to the school. ANd look at her now….living it up at the amazing North Florida university or whatever it is.
