If we’re talking about politically motivated violence in the United States, the best available U.S. government and government-funded data generally shows more lethal and organized extremist violence has come from right-wing/far-right actors than from left-wing actors over the last few decades.

The National Institute of Justice (DOJ research arm) summarized findings that since 1990:

The FBI has repeatedly testified that major domestic threats come from multiple categories, especially racially motivated and anti-government extremists.

However, official studies (like from GWU) often categorize this violence as opportunistically violent or local, rather than organized terrorism, compared to the planned plots by extremist groups.
The fact that these studies don’t include the Summer of 2020 which led to $2 billion in property damage, over 14,000 arrests, and 19 deaths makes me wonder if there’s an agenda behind these numbers.
