I’m a fervent Never Trumper. He is a selfish narcissist who has openly been enriching himself and his family since his first term. I wouldn’t trust this guy with a schoolyard secret, let alone the highest office of America. Yet here we are.
I see his campaign appeal, he ran as the candidate that most of us hoped Ross Perot would have been. Too bad we got the temu version that’s only good at acing cognitive tests about the shapes of animas.
The Ross Perot comp is interesting. I think people really under appreciate what Perot was able to accomplish, especially considering the entire power of the Left and Right were aimed at destroying his legitimacy.

Im Maga too. I ll be the first to say however eventhough im former military I find no pleasure in war. We should care less about Isreal and Palestine and care more about the decay of our great nation. I fully support the removal of criminal illegal immigrants who worthless ass Biden let in.
That being said eventhough I support trump there are several issues I cant agree with him on. Why he supports worthless Rinos is beyond me.
Common misconception. Just because someone is anti-Trump doesn’t mean they are a left wing liberal and want boys dressing like girls playing our daughters in sports.

I commented about not wanting more war and you run to “boys in girls sports.” Everything is cultural wars and common identity politics now. (Btw, my daughter would whip most of your son’s asses at any sport, but that’s beside the point).
Nuance is lost. We can’t debate ideas and policy. It’s all about what you heard in Fox News. I can bet you this Rick: We have much more in common than we don’t. Keep that in mind.
There are 100 other folders for sports. I built this folder specifically for politics, with an explanation and prompt to ignore it.
The goal is to engage people in conversation about things that matter. Again, we have a lot more in common than we don’t.

While we’re on this topic, how about some thoughts on this ICE stuff?
I’m all for borders, and laws that keep them secure. There has to be a legal process for entering this country and a way to keep bad guys out.
But…are we cool with ICE operatives doing what they are doing now? I’m not talking specifically about the situation in Minnesota, so don’t come at me with the “it was her fault” thing.
My opinion on this is slanted, that’s why I’m asking the group. I’m currently watching my daughter’s best friend get detained by ICE. She is 20 years old and has been in the US since she was 2. She didn’t even know she was illegal until a few years ago. She got picked up in an ICE raid, and is now looking at getting sent back to El Salvador, a country in which she can’t even remember living.
I mean…surely this defies some sense of decency, right?

I feel sorry for that young lady, but not knowing doesn’t make it alright. She should of self-deported and then applied to come back. That is the way it needs to be done.
I don’t agree with everything Trump says or does, but 80% of everything is correct.

Problem with what ICE is doing is why I believe Peanut left his job. ICE is not detaining dangerous criminals like to was politicized. They are going after easy targets.
I 100% agree that our boarders should be closed. But once again, government agency is not doing what we were told they were going to do.
Same. I am in favor of strong borders…the disregard for the good people who have been here is terrible. It goes back to something else said in this thread, I don’t recognize this country anymore and not in a good way.
