Just some of the Tariffs were cancelled, he just another Act to get them back and retroactive to the original time.

Good luck getting those refund checks.

This whole tariff this was a CF since day 1. I understand and don’t disagree with the high level theory. Yes, I want more American produced products. I work for a company who has intentionally moved our manufacturing overseas multiple times and it’s still happening now.

To think the the stroke of a pen will force large cooperations to completely change their strategy and bring manufacturing back to US is just stupid.

In fact it has done the opposite. It has caused more expenses to our company and our customers. We all know who ultimately pays for that. Consumers. In our case, employees are also paying the price in forms of cutbacks and layoffs.

Life I’m living is a complete 180 from what the stroke of the pen was said it was going to drive. I’m also not stupid enough to believe that propaganda.

I am America first. I see how F’n terrible tariffs are on a daily basis.

Companies won’t change policies based on executives orders. Unless it goes through congress and is set in stone, why would anyone relocate? You can invest today and tomorrow, it changes based on the how the president wakes up feeling and in 3 years new president changes policy by another executive order. Any company who does that deserves to fail.

If executive orders mean nothing then the office of POTUS means nothing.. which we all know.

Just like we know the only thing Congress will do is pass continuing budget resolutions and the occassional law that completely nukes us financially (ex. Affordable Care Act)
