I know Todd Graves (Cane’s) is not “the guy” paying out Kelly, but look at this comparison.
Todd is worth $20B… If he would write a check for $50M, it is equivalent to someone with a net worth of $2.5M writing a $5000 check.

Talking about Todd Graves, its an amazing story of wealth when you really think about it. 1st Raising Cane’s was started on campus in 97. Fast forward a 25+ years, and he as over 900+ locations in US and 30+ international and is worth $22B.

When asked in an interview why Cane’s doesn’t offer a spicy chicken option for it’s combos, Graves stated that the restaurant’s business model has always prioritized a simple, limited menu to ensure consistency and speed of service. Adding spicy options would essentially double the menu, leading to customers taking more time at the counter or drive-thru, hampering speed of service.

They (LSU or this donor) won’t pay $50 million to fire him. It will get negotiated down to a lower number, and spread out of lord knows how long. There’s already plenty of smoke floating around on TigerDroppings about Kelly diddlin’ coeds or cheerleaders or something, so they’ll find some dirt to use against him to get him to lower that number.

Louisiana government is a 100 car pileup on icy roads, and we just started the pileup. All we can do is sit in horror as we watch it unfold.
Louisiana has the most corrupt politicians in the country that are owned by or are themselves, soulless trial lawyers. The only hope for this state and its citizens is a complete reboot of the state’s constitution, but the sad part is that its those same citizens that are too lazy to do anything about it.
The parishes of Acadiana need to secede and make our own state. The time for the Cajun Nation to rise up is now.
