You don’t have to throw the ball to be successful. In our offense however you have to have some type of passing game.
Unfortunately it seems we either have zero ability to recruit talent on the OL and WR, and/or we have zero ability to develop the talent at those positions.
Des will be the coach next season regardless of what happens this year. If he sits back and keeps this entire staff intact then that will tell me all I need to know about him. Multiple members of this offensive staff need to be looking for new jobs.

If we don’t win another game, I can’t see him as the HC next season. The fans would riot. He needs to hand off the play-calling duties at this point.
I personally think we win a minimum of 4 this year, and he WILL be the HC again, but I’m just saying… if we go 1-11, he’s gone.

He will be HC next year. No way we have the money to payout his contract whatever the amount is. Contract runs through 2029.

I don’t see a world that he is not the coach next season. Could be wrong…hope I would be but we just don’t do things like that here. They will simply say it was a rebuilding year after 10 win season.

I’m not ready to call this a trend yet. BUT, if we continue to “trend” on this path, in 3-4 more years, our program will be in a worse spot that when Bustle took over.
No way I would have ever thought I would have had to make that comment. After 2nd year of Hud, I thought those days were over.

My thoughts are Dez will remain, and a coach or coaches will take the fall.
I will respect him more if he goes out and makes big changes to staff.

We are broke….He will be back on a pinky swear to fix it all. Coordinators will get canned. Bad point is no one gonna jump to come to a program with coach on hot seat and lame duck

We could go 1-11, and he would be nowhere near a hot seat in the eyes of Martin Hall.
We just gave him a new 5 year deal, and we are broke. We could not win another game until 2027 and he will still be the HC
