Dead last in the nation baby! The good news is that this is solely due to lack of execution. Our players just need to go out there and make plays. Our coaching staff does not share in this failure in any way, shape, or fashion.

Stop making me laugh.

Positive of the day: Only one direction to go in the passing game.

I blame the new stadium… clearly opponents are jealous and are bringing their A game.

Are we really stuck with this staff until 2029?

We are top 5 most winningest G5 program in the CFP era and the standard can’t continue to keep getting lower

UCLA and Va Tech made the best decisions for their schools with 4 years or less of a sample size and if we even make a bowl and still go 6-7 a tough choice needs to be made

Those schools don’t have the financial issues that we have and no doubt more big money alumni donors.

If we go 6-7, they will celebrate the coaching staff turning things around after a tough start.

Des is on the coldest seat possible. I would say 2027 would be the hot seat year if things wouldn’t turn around.

Am I the only one who felt like this hiring was a symbolic throwing in of the towel from the beginning? Like if he wins, great, but I think we are done trying to compete like we did in the Napier era. People will say we don’t have the money to. I don’t think that bothers this administration too much. Not worth their time to go out and try to raise the necessary funds or hire a staff with the required personality to do so. Sit back. Collect a check. Sell the suites. If a few poors turn up as well, that’s lagniappe. Just not too many please.

25 & 26 losing seasons, win in 27 to save his job and extended another 4 years .. Welcome to the Mike Marlin exp

100% budget hire Maggard, though fans would line up for a former player. He was shocked and pissed at the blowback he got from the hire.

He should have never even been considered for the job. He should have been told you need more experience. It not only has ruined the program but has ruined his career.

Lmao our passing is literally the worst and below the triple option teams in passing yards. This is comical for a spread team

I figured it all out.
According to Leger, our WR’s are so freaking fast (21+ mph speed).
Beale can’t see their blazing speed. All he sees is a blur of speed

The Rice model. And you’re 100% accurate.

Another fun stat: we are tied for dead last in the nation at 178 passing yards with ULM…who has only played 2 games thus far. There are an additional 17 teams who have played 1 less game than us with more yards. I would like to reiterate: this is ENTIRELY on the players. The scheme is fine.
