Based on interactions we’ve had with everyday Cajun fans, I think we’ll have a nice walkup crowd. I think the curiosity will get the better of plenty casuals. Mix that with a decent opening day opponent and high expectations with Walker at QB… I think Lafayette shows us this time

I think it’ll be a decent crowd, but not close to sold out. I’ll guess 22k for Rice and 28k for McNeese.
I like the way you think. It’s opening day vs Rice, so the casual Lafayette football fan is staying home to watch LSU/Clemson. McNeese will bring a nice crowd. GOTTA WIN WHEN THE HOUSE IS ROCKING!

This is going to be a very unpopular opinion. I do not like the red lights on the stadium at all. Or maybe it’s the shape with the combo of the lights.
Scrolling through Facebook just now and thought this was a Racetrack gas station at 1st.

I will be attending RCAF event a week from today at the new stadium. Will be a tour of the new facility. I will post pictures if I can.

I RSVP’d to go but now there’s some kind of mandatory parents meeting at my kids school that night…. Trying to get around that 
I hear you on the Racetrack vibe but it needed LED accent lights IMO and red was really the only viable option
