3 subtweets under that. Interesting note that university presidents and business leaders attended. I wonder if we had representation (Dr. S or Dr. Hebert)?
Acting liaison doesn’t mean he is making decisions for the future of the program I was told. He is there to help Dr Jaime Hebert. I can’t tell for certain who attended, but Dr Savoie was in town that day, not sure what time those meetings took place.
I’m hoping that they all come to a consensus to figure out a way to make the conferences more regional and cheaper for travel. We need to go to either 3/4 large conferences or get together and get TV contracts that make the conferences more money.
I hear that is the plan, but egos and pride may get in the way for the short term. Sometimes you hear what they want you to hear in media and most of the time it’s just a 3rd of the truth.
More money and the CFP needs to allow out least 2 auto bids from the G6. In other words the top 6 conference champs get an auto bid. It is only fair now that it will be the G6 instead of the G5. Ideally all conference champs should get in, but P4 will never allow that. Is it too much to ask to allow 2 of our G6’s in?
Any expansion to the total number of spots in the CFP, the G6 leaders need to fight for at least 3 spots. while 2 is an improvement, it could be a smaller percentage than current depending on how big the CFP grows
