How much does Maggard make?
In 2023 he was making over 450K, gotta think it’s more than that now
WAY too much
I found it odd they picked that one over the Thursday night game.
Going to interesting how long these new suite owners give for 4-5 win teams.
There is one way to succee,d though
Saudi Arabia wants American football.

The $1 trillion, state-controlled PIF has invested in soccer, golf, motorsports, tennis, and more.
Now, it's becoming clear the Saudis want American football—both the college game and the NFL.
Dez is my favorite Cajun player. When he was hired as head coach I was excited for him and the program. At the time I didn’t think about how I’d feel about him as a potential failing HC. It sucks. Kinda breaks my heart for him. I’m pretty much at the point though where his time has run out. He needs to make an OC hire and be a much much better HC and decision maker next season, or this week would be great.
It’s easy to see the struggle is killing him. He’s a Cajun for life no doubt. Still love the guy and hope he figures things out. I’d like to see more emotion and passion from him on the sideline. If he had half the passion I have in my seat we’d be 6-1!!!![]()

This is how I feel. Wished better for him.
I felt at the time his career was going to be killed by getting the position. He needed more seasoning.

Quarterbacks turned Head Coaches, LOVE to throw the football. I HATE IT!
His mentor just got shit canned for being hard headed…I pray that Des is smart enough to not make the same mistake. Give up play calling now, and then clean house offensively at the end of the season. That would buy him at least another season or two.
When you’re the CEO of things…business, college football team, etc., hard decisions have to be made.
It ain’t show friends, it’s show BUSINESS!!

This would be an odd phenomenon for Des to be a part of as his average pass was probably only 4-5 yards down the field as a QB.
Nico makes about half that …Jamie make the call
Today
Yes, it was a dime. One Lunch couldn’t throw all night. Granted he was dealing with an oblique injury from what it sounds like.
With that said, he held onto the ball way too long Saturday.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that we are getting mediocre quarterback play considering our HC was a mediocre QUARTERBACK while playing here.

Not like he was the last starting QB to lose to an FCS / 1-AA team.
I must be out of the loop, but why is Maggard catching heat for “budget issues he helped create?”
Over my years of reading message boards, I don’t recall folks suggesting he is spending too much money on hires or facilities. In fact, I recall us all praising him for his hires and improvements to the athletic facility??
You also have to increase your incoming funds. He is constantly pulling more money for the general fund to balance the budget I think he is up to 16 mill
The average fan has no idea how badly he was blowing the budget. In fact, some of the board of regents were shocked to see the audits.
