A bit?? That was very impressive. Leading team back from 17 down to tie it. Then leading a drive down 7 with 1 minute left, then winning it in OT.
Dude was on the money on numerous throws while being hit too.
My only question is why did des wait so damn long

I didn’t listen to the post game press conference, did Coach name Lunch as the starter moving forward? Or Coach speak?
We should be careful with playing him too much. If he performs like this over the next 5-6 weeks, he might lose him for next year.
I’m starting to wonder if Dez can evaluated talent. He chose Fields over Wooldridge, Wooldridge clearly better. He chose Beale over Lunch, Lunch clearly better.

This team has new life and renewed hope… this is the offense we should have been running all year… our QB has to run to keep the defense honest… if our qb only tries to run once or twice a game the defense will crash down every time…Poor coaching decisions cost us 3 games this year.

Can’t worry about losing people anymore… just have to go get the people to fit your system in the portal and worry about the now. If any coach stops playing players because the fear of the portal I don’t want them as coach.

Energy is right.
No disrespect to Beale. The guy got put in some bad situations and is showing signs of improvement, but the sample size showed you what the offense was going to be with him under center.
Really still in awe with what Lunch and that offense did in the 4th quarter and OT.
It happened so quickly. Marshall scored 24 unanswered at one point. With this Cajun team the first 4.5 games, it was over.

But seriously, Yeah…Lunch should be our starter. I’ve been thinking since the Mizzou game we should just roll with him and let the chips fall.
Hell…run the kind of offense that was featured with Dez & Fenroy if you have to. It’s obvious a consistent passing game that defensive coordinators are worried about is probably out the window this season. Doesn’t mean we can’t throw when the D loads the box too much. Keep working with Lunch on that aspect.

Whatever the price was that pulled Chriss, Broussard, etc from us. Point being is I hope they end up with degrees for their post 22 year old life, because right now it doesn’t look like they’ll be going pro in football.
I have no idea how much they were offered.
