They say to be a college football head coach and make lots of money.
Guess what: That comes with the territory. We have been very nice to Des compared to other Head Coaches across the nation. The shit they post about coaches at other programs is unbelievably worse.
That 3rd one is the hardest lol
You know the family coaching staff would do well to avoid Message boards and groups on Facebook if they can’t handle feedback. What gets missed in all of this is people are making an investment in athletics, and nobody makes an investment not expecting ROI.
Think Brian Kelly’s wife reads their message boards or Facebook?
Exactly, the ROI isn’t there. I bought 5 mid court tickets for basketball this season. It was a good chunk of change.
If we don’t change it around, in everything, I’m not going to continue to throw my money away on Cajuns athletics.
We are the only school in D1 where the Significant Other of coaches fight with fans on socials . Literally high school shit and the director of media operations goes out of his way to defend it.
“If I had a nickel for every time a coach in our D1 program’s wife fought with fans on social media, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice”
Yep. When everything is increasingly monetized, the expectations increase with it. It’s not a charity
Honesty, even as a fan and an investor, it’s best just to stay off of social media and message boards sometimes.
If you don’t have message boards and comment sections full of people that take the program way too seriously, then you’re Rice, and you’re dead.
He looks absolutely lost in this photo taken after the game Saturday.

Looking for that experience that was supposed to come to him.
I hate when people use random still images to try to say something about someone. Not defending what I’m seeing during the game, just stupid to use a photo to make your point. Stick to the decisions and game planning you disagree with.
Maybe you are just being too literal?
.@RaginCajunsFB Michael Desormeaux in his opening statement: “We’re playing winning football 95% of the game…there are just 6-7 plays in the game that make the difference”. @KATCTV3
This dude can’t be serious?
He is dead serious. That is the sad part.
I hate when people hate that people use random still images to try to say something about someone.
Consider my fuzzies warmed
95% of the time, it works every time.
sigh

Well he’s not wrong. But 90 % of all college football games come down to 6-7 plays. 2 interceptions that should have never even been called plays. Fumble at the goal line. Roughing punter, missed chip shot fg. 3rd and 14 at the 1 busted coverage TD.
That’s 6 plays causing at least 23 point swing.
