I haven’t seen this much excitement in basketball since around 2010. Coach Q comes in and talks about making the final four in his press conference and then compounds on that with raising a ridiculous amount of NIL money to put a competitive roster together. I couldn’t be more fired up about where this program is headed. It’s great to see what happens when you have a head coach with some vision instead of lame talking points and excuses.

Last we heard was $850k-ish @ARRCEE probably knows more up to date info on that.

That’s the number I keep hearing. A little north of $900k. I think this is more Maggard selling Q’s vision, than Q raising the money. Now that dynamic will have to shift in the coming years.

Ive been waiting for this for over 15 years! I hated the Bob Marlin hire from the beginning. Bland, milquetoast, blah basketball. All the people that defended that mediocrity for YEARS…making excuse after excuse…..are currently being humiliated. I cannot wait to get back in the dome for Cajuns basketball!!!

Correct. Things will ramp up next month for the October fundraiser. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the coaches and players walking around the tailgate trying to drum up interest. We cleared 95k the first year and doubled that last year. I think realistically we could triple it this year, all things considered. I encourage everyone to buy a seat, buy a table, donate something. The last two have been fun to attend even with the aging fanbase. We add a little “new school” to the mix and I think sky is the limit.
Will be an exciting year !!

Anyone hear where we are with season tickets?
It really has been a very long time since, I been excited for Cajuns Basketball. Even Marlins good teams didnt drum up excitement like this. Lets get really to bring fun back to the dome.
