Spent a few days in Biloxi to start a job out there. Stopped at 2nd & Charles in Mandeville & picked up this vinyl.
Also picked this gem at an antique shop in Biloxi.
I haven’t listened to a ton of his music, but I saw Glen Hansard open for Eddie Vedder back in the early 2010s. I’ve seen a lot of concerts, and he’s somewhere near the top for live performers. RIP.

Whiskey Wednesday Sessions at my house tonight.
I kind of had forgotten that I got this album a few years ago. It’s a Record Store release of songs from her early career right after she moved to Nashville before she signed with RCA Records.
New Billy Strings album released today.

I just finished listening. Its quite a bit different than what I was expecting. Still a good album. I just didnt know that this is somewhat of a tribute album to his mom that passed away last year from a drug overdose. Its fairly dark album for Billy.
His guitar playing is still spot on.
Haven’t put it on yet but I’m a fan of dark. Going to run it with a bourbon later.

I pre-ordered the vinyl. My wife is a teacher and now that school started back up, we started Whiskey Wednesdays a few weeks ago. Just whiskey and vinyl. Hopefully this album will be delivered before Wed. It will go well with a few glasses of bourbon.

No matter how many ways I block this guy, he keeps pooping up on my socials. It’s hard to be an even worse version of Morgan wallen but he’s killing it.
