You’re probably right, and yeah I think classic blues is dying unfortunately, but with that said I don’t think the genre is in a bad place. There are still plenty of awesome artists even if they sound more modern.
The musicianship in today’s blues is a whole lot more technical. But that was the beauty of the blues years ago. It was not fancy. Players were not very well educated. It was a true art that could not be taught. It was just in the blood.
