Them paying for the seats, helping generate revenue, is better than those slots going empty.
Im not saying its a bad thing.. Hell, most festivals around town are just another excuse for people to stand around, drink, and socialize. Unless you believe 100k+ people are that eager to see Geno Delafose for the hundredth time.
UL needs to lean into that if they want more people buying tickets. Stop trying to appease younger crowds and the players who will portal out in 6 months by playing mostly rap. And, unfortunately, the band is not providing much to gameday.

We do not have a band built for gameday. It is a competition band and that’s what they prep for.
as far as rap music is concerned, yall will just have to get over it. Go to any stadium in the country and it’s the same damn music. I would rather them mix in some other music too, but that doesn’t look like it will happen.

eh, game day was fine. Plenty of bathrooms and concessions. Lines were short. You either want to be at the game or you don’t.
We don’t need to crap on every little thing that goes on but I didnt like the “celebrate good times” music being played when it was 4th and 8 in the 3rd/4th qtr when we had the ball. wtf

Can’t speak on the amenities of the new side. I sit with the peasants in Sec 105. I had a blast at the tailgate and game though. Only thing that ruined the weekend was the result
I will say that several moms on the hill complained about the insane number of spiders and roaches in the grass

Disagree with your response to # 2 he not the best route runner on the team, but he has great size and they love that size at the X, most of the drops and incorrect routes came from the X he will be better. Des has to lean on Davis, Perry, and Williams until the youngsters come around along with the big TE also think Robertson can be a big help as he has past production.
Who is the better route runner? He was open on nearly every route, which is exactly why he was targeted 12 times.
The offense is predicated of the X last year was kind of different because Lance and Cater were so good on over routes… But when Kyren was here at the he got the targets, MJ got the targets hell two years go Williams was the X he was second in receiving and missed two games… Williams is probably the best route runner that’s why he is at the Z to the field with space…. Sampson size down the field on converted routes is an advantage… QBs mainly Walker had issues going through progressions that’s why most targets went t the X not a lot yo TE… Also Oline issues came from incorrect protection calls at the line… They were very vanilla Saturday. as Expected Walker still learning the play book Ben had full command of it…Sampson will be better but should have leaned on vets a little more….

Come on now, we know that you can’t stay away…it’s to engrained is who you are as a fan.
They do need to mix in more genres, I agree with that, but the music wasn’t that bad.
The volume is set for NASCAR though

I was ready to watch the tunnel run-out and kickoff last week, and when that mf’er came over the PA and said “Please join us for Jamablaya followed by You Are My Sunshine", I told every kid within shouting distance to throw what they could find on the field
