Bayou Teche actually had both an Ale version and Lager version at one point
One had a brown label and the other a red label

Equipment trailer wrapped in beer advertising? That is the most Louisiana thing that could happen to our program. ![]()
I donāt even see it on urban southās website yet.
I did the find beer near you locator on their site. Only spot that has it based of their site is Whiskey and Vine on pinhook.
Order a beer at Whiskey and Vine and be ready to be judged. haha
Never been, but i dont mind being judged.
Its a very nice place. Wife and I were there Saturday night. We normally dont eat. We just hang out at the bar and listen to music. Its one of the few places in Lafayette that I can get Absinthe.
Total Wine said that theyāll start to carry it in September.
Both good companies with great people. Louisiana laws (and many other states) regarding craft brewers can be infuriating to say the least. Distributors are the kings in that industry. They can make or break you in a heartbeat. I know I owned a pub with over a 100 taps of craft beers and have worked with literally hundreds of breweries. It is frustrating and honestly a business you have to love because you arenāt going to get rich off of it or have an easy go of things.
P.S. Two of the best beers Iāve ever had. Keep in mind everyone has an opinion. Parish Brewing Ghost in the Machine. Canāt say enough about the complexity of that IPA. Horny Goat Choclate Peanut Butter Porter. Good luck finding that one. The brewery was impossible to work with and I never knew when it would be available through their distributor.
They also had a great Tshirt they marketed along side of it. I recently had to release mine to the other side after the wife kept complaining about all the holes in it. ![]()
I had it Wednesday evening at the Football Kickoff Social. Very good. BTW, Iām an Urban South fan.
If I lived in the NOLA area, Urban South brewery is one of the places I would be on Sundayās during football season. Iām sure its an absolute blast to watch a game there.
UL was the first university and athletic program to have an officially licensed beer in 2015 and it looks like they are back in the game š¤š» pic.twitter.com/4QVjVR3OcX

Maybe these can replace the $2 nattys!!! But only at UL football games!!!
The Ladyā¦..I like that!
May have to charge $3, though, since itās more expensive to brew and purchase.
What can we expect beer prices to be at football games? Itās $8 at soccer so I can only imagine that it would be more than that.
The same, $8 for 16oz domestics iād imagine.
$10 for a 16oz draft, $12 for craft beer, but thatās just a guess.
gotta make up that budget shortfall somewhere. Since they refuse to do things to grow the fan base.
