For those that went see the stadium, what are your thoughts?
Had a chance to go sit in my seat and it’s NICE!
For me, I really liked on of the small details in the concourse area near concessions. The brick work here is really nice.

Mesh seats are comfortable compared to the metal seats. Also heard rumor of a beer garden coming to North East end of stadium. Not sure of exact location. Also think the Scan and Geaux concession area should help flow the lines.

Are the new black seats plastic like in the dome? Will we get 2nd degree burns if the sun is beating on them?

They’ve had a beer garden last two seasons. Near where the kids’ activities/games would be near the NE gate. It’s essentially a craft beer station with like 4-5 taps.
Unless they are upgrading that concept.
They will be mesh. Hopefully they are not sized for little kids like the new plastic seats at the cajundome are….. Fortunately I sit in the lower rows at the dome that have adult sized chairs
The concept is The Band Box. Just get it done with a new video board and the stadium will be complete.

It would be short sighted to put it by the visitor sections after the upgrades JMO
Idk I was just told Beer Garden at was pointed in the direction if NE gate. Dont know what all it would look like.
Yes the dome seats are terrible
Same, it received an invitation via email from RCAF. But at least a hand full of people I know attended and raved about it. Some great photos.
I’m curious about the longevity of these mesh seats
Although my tickets will not provide me with access to the club and suite areas, I took advantage of the opportunity to go and check out those areas Wednesday evening. I was really, really impressed! It exceeded my expectations. I also went down and located my seats and the chairs are really comfortable. This stadium will enhance the atmosphere just due to the improved environment, in my opinion. I am really excited for August 30th to get here.

I’m in section 121 row 19. Similar viewpoint as last year on the west side which I was ok with. We were upper deck family 5 pack folks before. Can’t beat that view. But 20 rows up ain’t bad. Anything lower is too low. Looking forward to just walking to my seat Saturday. Probably show up early and make the loop inside the stadium with a yuengling in hand.
