ICE and CBP

That MN law thing is not correct, but Fox News keeps repeating it:

“Under the Second Amendment and MN Stat. 624.714, permit holders may legally carry firearms in public, including during protests. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that public carry is a constitutional right. Carrying a firearm does not legally constitute “inciting violence.”

Otherwise, agree with the post.

To add, the US was literally founded on protesting, it was the very first bill they wrote. That’s how important freedom of speech and expression was to the founding fathers.

In the Boston massacre people were killed by the British military for standing up against tariffs (hm… look at that). The British military was ordered to suppress and colony assembly to which the Massachusetts governor and the people chose to not comply but rather stand up against one of the largest military and governments in the world….but we have always referred to these people as patriots. Now we are calling them terrorists for fighting something that they believe in. Yes I know this is different but the principle of the 1A and freedom of expression has no line based off what the topic/issue is. It would be illegal to allow protesting for “x” but not “x”

Again in the massacre people died because of agitation and throwing thing at British soldiers when at the time they were all considered British citizens and they got shot. Should they have just complied with the law enforcement, should we call them terrorist or patriots?

You have to be able to see a resemblance there.

Also damn do any of us mother f’erd have jobs lmao been in here all days so far chatting lmao

I think you’re giving these current “protestors” (they’re really just paid agitators) too much credit. They don’t give one flying fack about the people being deported, and, in fact, if a Democrat was in office you wouldn’t hear one peep from them.

Much like the summer of peace and love in 2020 they really only want chaos, so they are thrilled when they can get their George Floyd moments.

The left has become the party of victimhood and grievance.

If they are paid protesters that is just lobbying… which is running rampant in our government and just making their platform based of who ever is the highest bidder is, with Trump being one of the biggest beneficiaries of. You have to be equally cognizant of that

Guns do not go off “accidentally” in the true sense—what occurs is typically a negligent or mechanical failure. The idea that a gun can fire on its own without any human action or mechanical fault is largely a myth perpetuated by Hollywood. In reality, a firearm requires a trigger pull, mechanical failure, or design defect to discharge .

Yes you are correct but it was still an accident. the “accidental” discharge just cost a human life.

I definitely believe there are self interested actors in these riots and protests. For sure. You wouldn’t have to try very hard to convince me that state actors are involved as well.

My disposition just starts with this in mind: While many people see the country as Right vs Left, I see it as Government vs The People. So when I view these shootings from a 30k foot view, I think it’s a mistake to just assume every protester is a schill and let these Feds get away with murdering people for dissenting. The country was founded on dissent and wars were (allegedly) fought to protect those rights. They must be important.

Yes, it did…which is why it’s not smart to interfere in a law enforcement action carrying a weapon.

I have 100% been of this stance MAT. It’s always been the top vs the bottom. The top uses the left vs the right movement as their “cover” I guess you can say to continue getting away with making the wealth gap split as big as they possibly can. Struggled to find words there. But I agree

It’s the tyranny of the minority. The elites own the politicians to get their way, while the majority get scraps.

I will never understand how middle class and lower income workers support or back a wealthy person who their main missions of to get more wealth

it’s why Trump loves the poorly educated and smart people don’t like him.

I can completely agree that there are possible agent provocateurs at play. To assume they are all from the left would be a mistake.

There’s also a difference between policing and suppression.

How can anyone defend this shit? This is the President’s top advisor openly lying on Twitter. And doing it with the most provocative rhetoric possible:

Your statement misrepresents Donald Trump’s past quote and overlooks data on his broad voter base. Let’s break it down.

First, the quote: After winning the Nevada caucuses in February 2016, Trump said, “We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated.” This was part of a victory speech celebrating support across demographics, not a declaration of preference for the “poorly educated” over others. He was expressing gratitude for all voters who backed him, including those without advanced education who turned out strongly in that contest.

Second, the idea that “smart people don’t like him” doesn’t hold up. While education level correlates with voting patterns—non-college-educated voters have leaned more Republican in recent cycles—Trump has consistently drawn substantial support from college graduates and beyond. In the 2024 election, for example:

  • Among voters with a college degree, Trump received 41% support, compared to 57% for Kamala Harris.
  • Among those with postgraduate education, he got 37%, versus 61% for Harris.

This shows a divide, but not an absence of support; millions of educated voters backed him. Trump even improved his standing among college-educated Republicans leading into 2024, with some analysts noting a rebound in this group.

Plenty of highly educated individuals have publicly supported Trump, including:

  • Elon Musk (physics and economics degrees from the University of Pennsylvania), who endorsed him and contributed to his campaigns.
  • Peter Thiel (Stanford philosophy and law degrees), a key early backer.
  • JD Vance (Yale Law School), his 2024 running mate and a bestselling author.
  • Numerous academics, scientists, and professionals who have cited reasons like economic policy, deregulation, or foreign affairs for their support, as discussed in forums and analyses.

In short, Trump’s appeal spans education levels, and the narrative that only the “poorly educated” back him ignores both the context of his words and the evidence from polls and real-world examples.

Miller is easily the worst person in the administration.

Wow…agreement!

Suppression would be unnecessary if there were no interference.
