I’m personally more confident in my ability than a mechanical mechanism. For Me, pulling it would always be a last resort. I could be getting my ass kicked and I wouldn’t pull it. If I pull it, it’s firing.
That’s just not accurate, I’m sorry. Like others have said here and knowing people who carry, the round is chambered at all times. That’s the point. Safety when you need it for defense.

Well when it discharges be prepared for the consequences. Whether being shot by police or shooting your own dick off. That’s for each persons personal responsibility.

It’s entirely lawful to use your 1st and 2nd amendment rights at a protest. When this particular case comes up, the big question will be whether there was physical altercation with law enforcement while the weapon was on him. That’s why I posted the video from that lawyer yesterday because that’s what he states plus he also states that both sides will present the case as such.
There’s a lot of lawful terms and ambiguity that will have to be unpacked.
I do agree with that sentiment.
So we’re here wondering if the idiot’s actions and such made him dangerous enough that LEOs in that split second had to make sure he was completely neutralized, or if one of them way overreacted and didn’t communicate enough with his colleagues.
I’ll tell you this….I don’t think you could pay me enough to be a police officer or an ICE agent at this point.

And that’s another part of the problem. The pool of people willing to do this work has become so small, you’re very limited on options for selection.

I assume you think the training is not up to par? Regardless a citizen is supposed to respect authority. When you don’t the consequences usually aren’t good.

I can only hope that there isn’t a Democratic President for a good while, these Democrats are so anti-American, it is scary.
Also saying Antifa isn’t an organization is a complete lie. It might of started off as an idea and thoughts, but it has grown into a complete organization with Billions of dollars going into it yearly.

There are no Feds leading/encouraging these Antifa “protests”. There were DOZENS of Feds doing that on J6 as testified in Congress already. When Democrats run the show, law abiding citizens get screwed. The fact that you can’t see this, speaks volumes.

You don’t think there is any chance that bad actors (fed or other), could be influencing protest? I think that’s looking at things with rose colored glasses.
Also who was in charge on J6? It wasn’t a democrat.
I keep a 9mm in my vehicle at all times and it’s not chambered. I’d like to think it will give me pause to make sure I’m not going to do something stupid. It’s also a safety precaution.
I think the information we are seeing about the Signal group chats in MN will result in conspiracy charges. If the Feds are doing their job, they will have people joining these chats to compile evidence. Will some of the Feds actually be promoting more chaos, could be, but for what purpose? To get more folks in trouble with the law or in hopes of stopping ICE from doing their job? I mean what’s the percentage of government workers donating to the Democrats? There are many that will work against the mandate handed to our current administration, so it’s very likely there’s Fed involvement in that manner. Maybe one of the All Knowing Wizards can shed light on this subject.

My point is only this…with fraud or agent provocateurs or anything else, if you think the other side is doing it and your sides not, you have rose colored glasses. It’s the exact same people who watch fox and believe all the propaganda thrown at them and call cnn fake news. It works both ways. If one’s fake, the other is too.
We all have biases, which makes us susceptible to certain levels of propaganda. It’s why we all have differing views.
