A better offensive game plan from Des and we easily win that game. Des came into week 1 with new offensive toys and wanted to become a pass first team. Led to bad mistakes early on by Howard. Intentional grounding, interception, forcing throws into dangerous areas. Hindsight 20/20 but he should have went run heavy and saved the greatest show on turf attempt for week 2.

If they donāt do something about the volume of the PA announcer, DJ, and the the music, Iām gonna sit out games and watch from home. Also, the music choice, mostly rap music, isnāt what the majority of the fans that buy season tickets and donate their hard earned $$ want to hear. There are people puuting their fingers in their ears due to the volume. I put bits of kleenex in mine. Ridiculous!
I love Keith Frank, but the music is so loud now that they moved the stage away from the oak tree, we couldnāt hold conversations at our tailgate spot. Weāve had our TG spot for 20+ years and now itās shit when the music starts, right when we have the most folks at our tent, trying to talk to each other.
So, what fans are they trying to attract? The ones that buy a couple of GA tickets once or twice a year? The ones that donāt donate anything?
What about the loyal fans who provide the financial backbone of our athletics? Does anyone care how we feel about their āstrategyā to increase attendance?
I donāt mind the music selection and volume as much as I do mind them playing it up until the very moment the ball is snapped. They did this countless times while our offense was on the field too.
Right, thatās another thing that frustrates many fans. Iāve never seen anything like that before. Who is responsible for this?
Dr. Maggard is in charge of everything. He doesnāt press the buttons, heās the boss of those that do.

The music choices are to attract the younger fan base/students. We donāt have a large of group of those as most of our fan base is older. We have to try and incorporate the younger base any time we can.
Fine with playing music to try to attract students.
But playing ear piercing music on the PA when your QB is trying to call plays at the line is some dumb shit.
