For the few fans we do have of my age, that 2005 team was key in solidifying us as UL fans. Finally a superstar to cheer for we were old enough to remember playing (Fenroy) and a winning record. Nice to see them honored.
Fenroy wasn’t fast, big or any other metric. He just elusive running and eyes that saw everything when he hit the hole.
Pretty sure his neck guard added a few pounds. Loved watching him play.
I remember sitting at an airport bar and looking through a USA Today that was left next to me. Opened to the sports section and there was an article about Fenroy. I was like “hey, that’s us!” I kept it.

Not going to lie I dunno if we win a game this year because the offense.
Not a good showing by the Cajuns. So many mistakes. Just bad football, and a lack of talent and coaching.
