I know we have Fan Day coming up, but anyone else scratching their heads at the August “Takeover” community outreach event. One hour events taking place during work hours when kids are back in school?

The Shane’s and Jet Coffee make a little more sense to me being around lunch and coffee rush. But chances are the random people you see at Shane’s will already be UL supporters.

Hate to be a critic when they actually try to do something, but…

I guess its better than nothing. They are partnering with local stores to get “discounted” single game tickets. Absolute embroidery has it where if you buy the tickets from them you get 35% off UL gear.

Said the same thing. 9-10am on a regular work day doesn’t exactly scream “come see the Cajuns.”
