Fire Desormeaux

There is no solution. We will be poor to mediocre.

We have got to go in a new Direction. Des is in over his head and has no idea what he is doing.

Something tearing down the fanbase.

Good thing SELA wasn’t on the schedule they wouldhave beat us like a drum

This is a complete failure by this coaching staff from top to bottom, start to finish. Poor recruiting. Poor development. Poor game planning. Poor game management. Poor execution. And then repeat week after week.

We could even start higher on the totem pole with a failure to conduct a proper coaching search. A lazy hire by our AD and administration.

I’ve been sayin this for months. The buyout money can be raised, but it’ll take leadership and a vision by the AD.

Look at the energy and excitement generated since coach Q was named. Our Basketball program had been dying a slow death for 10 years, similar to the Baldwin years. Zero money, zero support, etc.
The right hire changes everything.

If our admin comes up with a plan to hire Coach O! Who’s available and wants to coach.
Could you imagine?

Coach O isn’t that good of a coach. Yeah he has a national championship under his name but that was mostly Joe Burrow. The drop off happened after he got drafted

He’s 1000% better than what we’ve got. He was 51-20 at LSU over 5 seasons.

And a elite recruiter

I don’t understand the obsession people have with Coach O. There are a lot of good coaches who can do work here…coach O ain’t it.

Also we might as well get it out of our head. This school is not taking the political hit of firing a coach when the school is in the financial trouble it’s in. Des is here for years to come regardless of outcomes.

Coach O would be a disaster.

I would stop short of that. Coach Dez doesn’t have his wife on the Ragin Cajun Football Fan page lashing out at and throwing insults at fans who pay the bills. The Marlin family was a whole different level of self-entitlement. I don’t think Coach Dez and his family come anywhere close to that.

It was trending in that direction in his first season but someone put the clamps on it

I know…but I’m going to give grace to someone when something like that is their initial reaction, being brand new to the circus around one’s spouse being a D1 college head coach, but then steps back and away realizing it’s not helping.

The Marlin family did the exact opposite.

Two completely different families, if you ask me. One I respect, even if I’m done with Dez being our head coach. The other, zero respect for, personally.

I was more referring to Marlin winning only when his job was on the line

Oh and Dez Wife was definitely on the Facebook fan pages cursing out fans his first year.

Dez burn rate is out of control they might let him go just based off how much he spends vs takes in.

First year.

Any instances since? No. Marlin folks continued.

So again, point made.

Yep. It feels like madam Marlin sealed his fate at the end

Please go find me some nerd thats Director of Game Film at some no name college and hand him the reigns. All the veteran coordinators and staff will quit in protest and we can build some weird stats and analytics-based team that can win regardless of personnel (or at the very least do goofy sh*t that gets us some hype)

Oh his family still is on the Facebook page arguing with fans. Specially after the Rice loss.
