He’s a quarterback, not a running back. His game against Marshall and his high school stats back this up. You just want Walker Howard to play.
He’s slow to process reads, his arm strength is just adequate, all of which limits the already basic offense.
He can run, he’s a great leader and vocal ambassador for Cajuns athletics. But he isn’t the best QB on the roster. I don’t want to hear he gives us the best chance to win. We have won 2 games.

I have never ever said that I want Walker to play over Lunch. Not even sure how you came to that conclusion based on my comments.
Lunch had 23 carries this weekend for 139 yards… thats RB numbers. I was stating that viewing him more as a RB instead of a QB puts this offense into better perspective. Perfect example is Lamar Jackson earlier in his career, he was used more for his running ability and athleticism, and had to become a talented passer over time.
We should be running the same offense that Des ran with Bustle when we were getting 300+ yards rushing and popping them over the top with Chery. Zone Read option all the way and let Lunch read the darn play.

That has nothing to do with his ability to pass the ball. We have below average coaches and a depleted offensive line. On top of that the receiving corps is not very good. Those reasons are why he’s running so much.

Not disagreeing with you, but the fact is that he had more rushing attempts than passing attempts last week, and is just as dynamic in the run game as Zylan and Bill.
I also believe he gives us the best chance to win every week.
It’s Walker, IMO. Doesn’t mean you put him in the game in that situation vs. Southern Miss or Troy.
From the small sample size we have seen, Walker is no more developed than a freshman coming in from HS. Not his fault but it is what it is.
From QB play on the field. Lunch is the best QB option on our roster.
It’s definitely hard to argue with that. Walker has the most upside and high octane type potential, IMO. Again, I’m not putting him in, in those situations.
Give Walker the same leash that Beale and Lunch have had. Every single aspect of being a QB he does better.
Walker can’t make WRs catch the ball, which has been his downfall. He hasn’t been in the program long and that facking idiot coach we have will stick with loyalty over talent every time.

Problem is he will be a senior next year. Should have taken a medical instead of 2 passes.
You don’t get to throw a pick 6 after your team had the momentum and get to go back in. That’s 2 weeks in a row that it’s happened.
Yeah… put him in… he’s balling this season!
Not sure I’ve ever seen people fight so hard to defend staring down your target and tossing it into double coverage. It’s kinda amusing at this point.
