Brutal schedule, for sure. After last year, I don’t expect much of anything from this program anymore. Better get used to watching baseball for the love of the game because the days of making regionals on a regular basis are over.
One hell of a schedule.. don’t see lots of gimmies

Looking forward to seeing my seat mates. That’s about it. I see no reason to believe in the pitching. Maybe we’ll be able to score enough runs to win 28 games.
Less wins than last year is my expectation this season, especially now that Chase Morgan is on the shelf.
At least $2 Natty’s are back, to lessen the sting.
Zero expectations. Wife and I will always love baseball regardless of how good or bad our teams are.
Just hope by conference, it does not look like a scene from the beginning of Major League at The Tigue.
Is this Deggs final year of contract? If things go bad does he get another year?

Yes Deggs is on a contract year. By the way, that base salary is Top 25 in the nation.

If true, I am surprised Deggs would get to this point and essentially work on a one-year deal. How did he not get extended after 2024?
Bingo. With that in mind, I do not expect Deggs to be the head coach here next season, barring an unforeseen and historic turnaround in 2026.

He won’t be. I’d be beyond shocked.
I’m moreso hoping Niko Yantko comes back to UL, and brings Dan Skirka with him.

Who are some legit head coaching candidates we could possibly bring into the program?
I hate it seems Deggs is struggling to up-keep the program.
I think Deggs was the right hire at that time and still think it was right hire, even if it doesn’t work. Similar to if Habetz doesn’t work. With that said, the more I hear Deggs, the more I dislike him. On top of that, his lineup management is terrible.

no, he would pick a local hero with no HC experience to hope that it will get attendance and fan fare. We need someone from a top tier team that is an Associated Head Coach, or at least someone with Head Coaching experience.
