Here’s a crazy idea, now I’m just a cooyon from Mamou, so humor me. If you were going to Red’s and decided to take a right on red onto Congress, why not drive down to Congress and Bertrand and take a left there and take Bertrand at the South College/Bertrand split and take a right at Johnston.

Nice try AI is very real. That sign is not there and the left turn lane passes the gate. The gate is on the other side of the left turn.
I did that route for years until I realized once on Johnston you have better chance of cruising through all green lights than the other streets.

Fwiw- As someone who used to live down Cajundome Blvd and would go to reds early morning, I wouldn’t have taken that route in the first place….. That light at Cajundome/ West Congress is stupid long before 5 am
From personal experience, The Bertrand route is better for lights at that time whether you hit it up from eraste Landry, devalcourt or Billeaud-it flows way better
Yep. I pass that intersection 20 times a week and never saw that no left turn. I’ll try eraste to Bertrand tomorrow.

That route works because there’s only the stop sign at North Bertrand and Bertrand when you cut that corner off Eraste Landry. Once you get to Bertrand it should be smooth sailing at that time of morning - those lights stay green

He got nothing. Left turns are made into that gate everyday of the year except game days and he had to crop in a no left turn sign to try and make his lie believe. All he got is falsehoods.
