We rushed for 4.9 a carry. I really would like to run the ball more.
I thought the intentional grounding call was bad and a drive killer. I also thought Howard’s arm was hit coming forward which should have been an incomplete pass not a fumble. Watched replay of both to confirm what I thought. As bad as we played on offense, those 2 plays were huge calls in a close game.

We need to incorporate more QB run if Howard is the QB. He’s not going to throw for 300 per game. His biggest asset is his athleticism. Can someone get Sampson some stick em?

Can someone confirm for me if the holding call on Beale’s scamper was legit? I just wasn’t focused on the O-Line in the moment so I’m not sure. If that flag isn’t thrown I’m confident we win.
Holding call on 64 was legit, he took him down at the point of attack.

The UL offense looked like they never practiced in their life, dominated by a mediocre, sad Rice team.
Holding was legit. I agree I think we somehow pull it out without that call as we only needed about 20 more yards after that scramble
