Is the east side construction still on its original schedule? Last I heard was ground prep and tree removal in 2026 then construction right after the 26 season. Anyone hear differently?
I wouldn’t hold my breath on this one.
From what i’ve heard it’s still projected to be on the time-line mentioned.
The optics on that would cause the main campus to riot.

I personally believe, UL “giving away” the prime property to the National Guard, was an under-the-table greasing of the wheels to make sure the project is ear marked and funded. I expect it to be on schedule.
This is totally my personal opinion.

Can’t imagine it would be to difficult of an ask to just plop something like this right there… shoot honestly we could get away with only 2 storys. Shouldn’t be to expensive

I was able to answer my own question last week. I ran into one of the owners of the construction company and he said still on track for next December. He said it is a state project and the money is already allocated so nothing should change.
