Trevor Penning’s injury is turf toe, I’m told. Those typically take 4-6 weeks to heal, but can sometimes be shorter.

I think Penning got stepped on by the replacement center and that caused his injury.. If that’s the case, hard to fault anyone but the Superdome burial ground for bad luck.
It is odd, though.. The ghosts usually only haunt the Pelicans when the Saints are on the road
Offensive line depth is a major concern. All teams covet OL so the chances of picking up any quality depth via the waiver wire are pretty much non-existent.
