I didn’t see anyone talking about this in here. According to News 15, it happened last Wed in practice…
Why was he trotted out there Saturday then? That’s concerning
Could he have played Saturday with a torn Oblique muscle? I wouldn’t think so.
Sure didn’t look that way but this is reportedly straight from the Head Football Coach
Is this the part of the season where valuable players see a lost season and suddenly start getting nagging injuries that keep them out of games where they might ruin their portal value?
I think that started 3 weeks ago, honestly.
Poor strength and conditioning program. You don’t see a program with this many injuries when the S&C program is top notch.
Exactly. When you have multiple players at the same position with the same injury, that’s all from your S&C program. Needs a complete overhaul.
Yeah may be time to find a new S&C coach.
The guy has a torn oblique, so what’s our solution? Let’s run him up the middle with a bunch of qb keepers and qb sweeps. That’ll do the trick.
Went look at our S&C staff. Here’s the breakdown of everyone and how many in each position:
COACHES
1 - Director of Athletic Performance for Football
4 - Assistant Director of Athletic Performance for Football
SUPPORT STAFF
1 - Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine
2 - Assistant Director of Sports Medicine (Football)
1 - Assistant Director of Sports Medicine (Multiple Sports)
That’s 9 people in charge of S&C and Sports Medicine yet we have multiple players who play the same position having the same injuries.
If Lunch did in fact play with a torn oblique muscle Saturday, he is superman. This whole QB injury thing keeps getting weirder by the day.
Well the guy who led it under Napier is already here. Time to turn it back over to Hocke
Read my mind. Time to give the S&C program back hocke.
Would definitely support this.

This is what happens when you allow your QBs to step into the weight room.
Not this crap…
