If they just promote Jessica, we know we are on deaths door as a program.

Now would be perfect opportunity for us to combine some roles and save some money. Name Coach Dez duel Head FB Coach and AD. Give him a little salary bump of $30k or so.

That way, we will have secured both positions where we don’t have to worry about having to hire a replacement for either any time soon. Will give us all peace of mind to focus on other things.

Go get Nico back.

Only if his mom calls into radio shows defending him like Derek Dooley

Maybe you give Techs AD Ryan Ivey a call? I’m pretty sure I remember hearing he’s from the Acadiana area or has family here.

Would love to hire Nico back

Dez’s buyout just went down 25% with Maggard leaving. Are we not worried an SEC school will poach him for cheap.

Hence another reason why it would be smart to offer him the AD role and title with his current duties. Win. Win.

What if each coach took the Job for a month in rotation.

that would not be a good idea.

Trey Frazier is the interim AD

Guess we’ll find out soon enough now if he was the problem as suggested.

Guess things really can’t get any worse. Right??

Things will only get better from here. This isn’t a totally terrible thing. Like yes, Maggard helped us but also he allowed some things to happen that were not ideal. I doubt Kolluru will hire anyone worse

It was time for him to go. Some would say, past time.

Do we revisit past pipelines and create a list of ambitious swim coaches from Georgia Southern?

Not many candidates will be lining up to head up an athletic department being gutted on budget and headcount. Dr. Kolluru needs to come out and make a statement either signaling a recommitment and reaffirmation into investing in athletics, or I am going to assume we are hiring someone to oversee the return to mediocrity and squalor.

Dr. Kolluru wanted to lead, well - lead.

In the months he’s been president, Dr. Kolluru has shown a lot of interest in athletics. He goes to games, he traveled to Starkville for the baseball regional. I don’t think he’s one that’s going to settle for mediocrity

There are only 365 of these postions in america and it pays over $400k a year, there will be plenty of people interested.
