Last Saturday was a LOOOOONG day… We got there when Reinhardt was the only open gate. Tomorrow we may show up a little later and burn some burgers and wings.
I usually get there on Friday but we have a road game this week so I’ll head to the spot early Saturday morning. If I’m sitting there too long, I start cooking way too early.
CookingWithUncleJ will be cooking up a Cowboy Stew and grilling up the Best Stop C”EST FROID platter at the RR tailgate. Ya’ll come make a pass!

Who is cooking ox tail? Man I miss the late night Friday cooks at Cajun Field. We had ox tail at least once a year. Make one hell of a gravy. If you want to kick it up a notch, thin slice some sweet potatoes on top once its took and lit it simmer for about 30 mins while you drink a few more beers. MAN!
Cowboy stew is good stuff.
