Over the years, I have gone less and less to RP because of all the BS. You have to read through 90% of the site/thread to find an actual relevant discussion.
RP is blockbuster, and thREDs is Netflix.
Users told them for years to improve the product. The RR team even reached out for a partnership to clean up the site. RR was met with repeated silence. Users got more adds, more crashes, and less substance.
Let me say that there is a place for both forums to exist. However, all we have done here is take the platform that RP created, and creatively improved it with virtually no ads, being extremely user friendly/easy to navigate, and encouraging active daily conversation. Nothing here is stagnant and stale, and that’s the way we intend to keep it. So thank you to Turbine for setting the bar, and to MAT for raising it.

I still love the fact that when I return to a conversation in RR, I am met with the most recent comment that I haven’t yet read.
When I go to RP, I am met with page 1 comment 1….. then I have to guess what page I may have last read…. Oh look, a Fruit of the Loom underwear ad….. oh and a sale at Bass Pro Shop…….
