Idk if this is a great example or not, but I remember when I was younger and had just joined RP, I spent multiple days trolling Vic with memes I made (this was in like 2021 when him and JMV would beef in every freaking thread). It started with the Hudspeth saga and devolved into all kinds of different things.
I can’t remember either, but it coincided with the creation of Rougarooms. So that was around what? 2019/2020?
Wasn’t it about the proposed development around Cajun Field?

I think it was Vic threatening to sue Turbine for allowing him to be doxed or something. Or that was one of the times it went down.
Yeah that was when we had Stan Kroenke’s real estate team come in wanting to develop retail stores on UL property across from Cajun Field, and the university did nothing about it.

It was a lot more than that. IIRC, it was immediate revenue of $60mm, the school would retain ownership of the land, they had a plan for TIFFs in that area with the city, and they wanted to open up a bar inside the new stadium (yes they were going to build us a new stadium way back then) and I think it was Walk-On’s. Victory can correct me if I’m wrong there.
They also had a relationship with Big 12 people and were going to upgrade other facilities to get us in line to make the jump to the Big 12. This is why you saw us talking about Big 12 membership back then. It was on the table.
