Interested in seeing everyone’s opinion on this.
I’m neutral, but when you’re ranked 217 in HRs by team in D1…I guess that’s an option.
Absolutely stupid comment! The Tigue is not the issue.
So what, we bring the OF wall in and our P give up more HRs than this year? Then what is the next complaint?
Why was Deggs not complaining in 2013 & 2014 when we hit 74 & 65 HRs?
This year our opponents have hit 69 HRs against us while we have only hit 38. Last time I checked, games are played in the same ballpark under the same conditions.
However many more home runs we hit, Pruitt and the bullpen will give up just as many.
Most of our staff pitches to contact and if you move that fence in we’re gonna get pounded
This would be idiotic
Maybe Deggs needs to recruit guys that have the ability to hit HRs.
Softball is in a similar situation.
Just when I thought he couldn’t more inept as a coach…he says this. And for what?
So we can lead the league in bunts with the outfield walls closer?
Will we get picked off of first base less often with the outfield walls closer?
I got it. Surely, this will solve the mismanagement of the pitching staff.
It’s simple. Recruit more guys that don’t have an issue in your ballpark.
If they move the fences in, they need to make them at least 10 feet tall, therefore line-drives don’t get out, you still have to have power to get them out. Put some suites in the area where they are moved in but keep the Pines.
330 down the lines
375 in the gap
400 dead center
It needs to stay that way.
Should we bring last nights game into context here? Very good chance Coastal has 3 additional HRs to the one they hit. Also a good possibility we lose the game. I cant remember a single ball we hit that I thought, “man, if the fence was closer, that would have been a HR”.
Update:
Coastal: 2
Cajuns: 0
Horn is mowing us down. That dude is good
Our approach is terrible.
More fuel to the fire ![]()
We definitely lose today with a popcorn park!
Leave the fence alone!
I agree, but Deggs is hellbent on moving them in.
