Yeah Flanagan can’t see the mound again unless we’re up 10.
1 out nobody on 2 strikes and we’re facking bunting. This is some pathetic shit.

Hope we don’t get swept at home by Monroe.
Y’all know we’re missing regionals right?

Deggs has to hire a hitting coach. Whatever the hell he’s doing here isn’t working.

Trying to bunt with 1st and 2nd 2 outs in the 9th down by 2 should explain everything you need to know about this team’s talent level and ceiling at the plate. Worst offense in the Belt. We look completely lost against relievers with 5+ ERAs. But hey. Deggs can’t be expected to land plus bats in this NIL and portal landscape. It’s not like we have the resources of…check notes…ULFuckingMonroe.

I know there’s a lot about baseball that we, as fans, don’t fully understand—but at the same time, we do understand quite a bit. Personally, I believe a big part of our offensive struggles at the plate comes from Degg’s decision-making from the third-base side. It often feels like he’s overthinking things instead of trusting his instincts.
He’s calling every pitch in every at-bat, and it really makes you wonder how many of those calls are off. How often are hitters being told to keep the bat on their shoulders, take the first pitch, or lay down a bunt in questionable situations—then suddenly it’s “swing for the fences” over and over? It feels inconsistent. At some point, you just want to see guys simplify it…. choke up, make contact, and put the ball in play instead of constantly trying to do too much.

We have to hit and back up the guy on the mound. Plain and simple.
Nevertheless, back to back Fridays giving up the game changing homer in relief. Ouch.
Cajuns down 1-0, top of 3rd. Cajun hitters have not come close to getting a hit yet.
