Before anyone says its too early…. I know we have a bye this week. But thREDs has been quiet the last few days, so someone has to say something.
JMU has had success so far this season, their only loss is to Louisville, and averaging over 30 points per game. They head to Center Parc Stadium to face Georgia State (1-3) Saturday. GAST’s 3 losses are to 2 Top-25 SEC teams and Memphis.
That game Saturday might tell us a little more about JMU’s offense, but can our defense keep JMU from putting 30+ on the board next week in Harrisonburg?
And can our offense prove a point again this week?
So many questions still to be answered… here is my prediction for now.
They now have film on Winfield and can game plan for him.. Our O-line and defensive fromt 7 are the weakest part of this team. As much as I would luv to see a Cajuns victory, it probably will not be pretty.
Cajuns hang tough, Lunch plays well, but JMU pulls away late. I just can’t see our defense making the necessary adjustments to limit one of the better offenses in our conference. Keys to winning the game are holding JMU to under 30 points, and keeping their offense off the field by controlling the clock.
