I hope I’m allowed to discuss this here, but if not, Mods feel free to delete this thread lol. Now that I live on my own, I want to start making football podcasts again. This idea is not only meant for you guys, but for me as well, so that I can keep myself occupied at home lol. With that said, I want to hear what some of you would like me to talk about on future episodes. Keep in mind it has been well over a year since I last did an episode on AFR, so fresh topics aren’t gonna come to me right away.
I’m very open minded to what ideas y’all might have, and I’ll be sure to document every suggestion I get. If you or someone else would maybe like to be a guest on the show, let me know what you would like to talk about on an episode. I’m also open to hearing any suggestions of people I should interview! All I ask is that it’s a topic related to American Football!

For anyone wondering, here are some of the ideas I’ve gotten so far. I like these a lot because they seem fairly simple, which would be good for starting the podcast up again. What do you guys think?
Heck yeah Do it! Topic idea could maybe be “what ifs”….. like a what if “x” school didn’t leave “x” conference , or what if “x” team didn’t lose this game, etc and how the CFB world would look

Cool idea! One thing I’m thinking of doing is having multiple topics in one episode so the content is longer lol. This would be a very fun segment imo!
I’m starting to feel like this is headed in the right direction. I made a fall format for each episode. Anything you guys would change?

FYI the new episode should hopefully be out by Thursday the 18th. I’m gonna start working on some of it today. I’m really looking forward to this!
I really hate to do this to y’all, but I’ve decided to hold off on making any podcasts until my schedule lightens up quite a bit. Keep in mind I work two jobs, I go to school, and I have an apartment to maintain. Plus a few other things. Those things are a bigger priority at the moment and they take up most of my time. Once I can make some time for a podcast I would love to do it, but for now I want to get bigger things out of the way first. Thank you for understanding, and sorry to disappoint.

Thanks, I’m not completely ruling out any chances of the podcast happening again. I just don’t want to get too stressed out with a lot on my plate. I don’t do well under pressure lol

Good news! I am FINALLY planning on bringing the podcast back this month! The reason it took so long was because of school, work, and I’m still in the process of trying to find an easy recording software to use. Since some of y’all are OG supporters of the show, I figured I’d give y’all some insider info.
There should be an episode out no later than May 1. My goal is to make an episode after the NFL draft, discussing what surprised me, what stood out to me, picks I liked/disliked, etc.
Additionally, I am planning on heading to Laramie, Wyoming, for the Cowboys’ spring game on the 25th. My goal for this segment is to discuss what positions/players looked promising, as well as comparisons to last year’s roster, and so on.
This will be the majority of what the episode discusses, but I also hope to add my experience at the AFC Championship game, as part of the first fun segment. The other fun segment might be a crazy upset in college football from years past.
Lmk what y’all’s thoughts are on this, and if there’s anything else you’d want me to discuss in the episode, or even before it. Thanks guys! Looking forward to bringing this back!
