Still no pitching coach. Is it hiring freeze, not enough $$ to get a “good" coach or does it have something to do with our HC?
I am not sure, but the wait is very puzzling. Still a month before fall ball, but still….

I was just looking at the Transfer Portal page on D1 Softball. Just for fun I checked all the SBC schools for number of players out/number of players who found a new school/number of players who went to a higher rated conference.
53 hit the portal
36 found a new school
10 upgraded from the SBC to a better conference.
Those numbers are about what I thought they would be.
SBC schools have picked up 28 girls in the portal.
