The search for the next University of Louisiana at Lafayette president is officially underway.
The UL Board of Supervisors got together on Thursday, December 11, to map out the schedule for picking the new president. There are some important meetings and interviews coming up over the next few months.
The whole process kicks off with the first search committee meeting at UL on January 14, 2026.
Then, the committee will meet again in Baton Rouge on February 19 to look at applications and cut the list down to semifinalists.
They’ll hold on-campus interviews on February 23 and 24 to select the finalists.
The final call will be made on February 27 at a special board meeting where the full board will interview the finalists.
