Does anyone have any thoughts/opinions on Dr Kollaru?

I expected a Landry bootlicker.

don’t know anything about this guy but seems better than I figured. Still not the type of hire that I feel does anything to progress the university.

The governor told The Times-Picayune that Romero asked him whether he had a problem if Kolluru applied.

ā€œI said I got no problem,ā€ Landry told the newspaper. ā€œY’all go find whoever you want.ā€

I suppose it’s a good thing that all his attention is directed towards TSAB and not his actual alma mater.

If it’s Ramesh, it’s a great day for this university.

No way the Cajun Mafia hires an independent thinker who will act solely for the betterment of UL

He’s a huge supporter of athletics.

Well that’s your opinion. Sec we can all have opinions. Doesn’t make either of us right or wrong.

sure…we can disagree on who should be the QB or the SS but when it comes to someone making generalizations about an entire race of people…no we can’t. Douchebags will douchebag though. :man_shrugging:t2:

I’ve seen him at every football game.

He’s probably the only reason UL isn’t in total financial ruin right now. Easily one of the sharpest individuals I’ve ever come across in an Administration role. You’ll have a hard time finding anyone who has a negative thing to say about him. And I he’s 100% not a stooge for the ULS board.

I would also like this hire, and I’m surprised our governor is allowing us to choose him. UL Faculty should feel blessed if he is picked, instead of complaining about a search.
