I’m not sure what the appetite for books or audio books will be here, but I’m a reader. I mentioned this on the other board, but Joel Salatin books are currently changing my life.
I need to start reading my book about the Riverside School for the Deaf’s football team. It was super interesting but I keep forgetting to get back into it lol. In the meantime, I’ve read Absolute Batman, and I’m gonna start Absolute Wonder Woman soon. Yes, I’m kind of a comic nerd haha.
I remember on RP you said you read The Devil’s Chessboard: Allen Dulles, the CIA book
I read that before and i was very good read. Really opened my mind on how corrupt the deep state can get.
Very good book. And it was around the time when Tucker had the Greek CIA asset on his show to talk about global strategy. I was in a foreign policy trance for 6 weeks.
Currently binge listening to the Martyr Made Pod
That book has convinced me that Dulles and CIA ops took out JFK.
Currently on my work desk:
‘Sons of Baseball’ by Mark Braff - Signed by Ron Guidry
There is a portion of the book about Brandon Guidry, and his experience of growing up as Ron’s son. Also in the book are the Ripken kids, Maris kids, Rivera kids, and Berra kids, to name a few.
I think it was a collaborative effort but the CIA was definitely involved. The original Sicilian Mob families (turned American Mob turned Cuban regime - Check out a book called Havana Nocturne - another incredible book). They killed Bobby too.
Try to find anything you can on Barry Seal and read about his life. Crazy shit.
Definately will, thanks for the suggestions.

Murder on the bayou is a great nonfiction book.
And you know it’s legit because the politicians involved tried to sue that author something like 11 times
That’s a good one.

Home of the Happy: A Murder on the Cajun Prairie
Book by Jordan LaHaye Fontenot
Home of the Happy: A Murder on the Cajun Prairie is a 2025 true-crime memoir by Jordan LaHaye Fontenot, blending investigative journalism with family history to explore the 1983 kidnapping and murder of her great-grandfather, Aubrey LaHaye, in rural Louisiana. The book delves into the lasting impact of the crime on her family and community, questioning the official narrative and examining themes of generational trauma, justice, and secrets in the Acadian prairie setting.
Only problem is, every 5 minutes you have to stop and go look up something new. Incredible book.
