:100: It gets deeper every chapter.

If anyone is into Sci-fi with the gaming concept style of DnD. I highly recommend Dungeon Crawler Carl. I’m on book 3 and it’s got everything, comedy, action, suspense, etc.

Highly recommend! The audio book versions are also fantastic.

Have you gotten into the ‘Ready Gamer One’ realm?

I saw the movie when it came out but it’s on my shortlist. I just finished Running Man after watching the movie which honestly is very similar but less PG.

Seen these mentioned somewhere else as someone’s favorite read of 2025.

Sex, drugs, more drugs, and rock and roll. Man in the box is a classic. The video with Jesus walking around with farm animals was insane

I read Frenchie a few months back. It was pretty interesting. A little repetitive and long winded but still a good read.

If you are into history, I highly recommend ALL of Bill O’Reilly’s Killing series and Confronting series books. All 15, including Killing Lincoln, Killing Patton, Killing Kennedy, Killing the Rising Sun, etc are all fantastic reads. Confronting the Presidents and Confronting Evil (his latest) are also great. A lot more detailed history not included in school history books are contained in all of his books.

Have any of yall read any of Greg Iles’s stuff? Making my way through the Penn Cage series now. Pretty solid Southern thrillers.

Any recommendations on which book to check out first?

The Quiet Game is the first in the series. I’m personally reading them in order.

Going to check it out.

a good crime series to check out is the Jack McEvoy series by Michael Connelly. The first book is The Poet.

Currently in the 3rd book of the Red Rising Series.

Seeing as the movie is about to come out, highly recommend Project Hail Mary (and for that matter, The Martian) by Andy Weir. Both are outstanding reads (and extremely good audiobooks as well) and good scifi with a nice blend of action and real science/technology.

Project Hail Mary was easily best book I read last year.

The Martian was great and his other book Artemis is a solid read.
